If you are a seller and have received payment for an ad that is set for meeting in person, but you had agreed with the buyer to conduct the transaction by sending a parcel, please follow the steps below.
- Cancel the active transaction for meeting in person so that the buyer receives a refund.
- Send a payment request to the buyer to change the transaction type. At the bottom of a chat click on the ‘Request payment’ button. At the beginning you will be asked for the payment details (item price agreed with the buyer) while in the next step you can choose ‘Shipping’ as a delivery method.
- Choose shipping method and choose the company and shipping costs. Read more here.
- View the summary to make sure the information you entered is correct, and complete the payment request.
- After submitting the request, the buyer who has 3 days to complete the payment will be automatically notified
- After the buyer’s payment, you must send the package to the buyer’s address.
- The buyer will receive the parcel and will need to approve the product to receive payment.
