Required documents & KYB procedure

To register or convert your account to a business account, it is necessary to complete the KYB (business identification) process. The required documents vary depending on the type of business.

For sole proprietorships

• A valid identification document (ID Card, Passport or Driving License) of the legal representative.
• A General Certificate from the General Commercial Registry (G.E.M.H.) confirming the legal status of the business (issued within the last 3 months), translated into English.
• To receive the translated certificate:
  1. Visit https://publicity.businessportal.gr
  2. Change the page language to English
  3. Fill in your business’s VAT number in the corresponding field.
  4. Click the “Printable format” button and in the Certificate overview, in the “Destination” field, select “Save as PDF”.

For other forms of businesses (S.A., E.E., E.P.E., etc.)

• A valid identification document (ID Card, Passport or Driving License) of the legal representative.
• A General Certificate from the General Commercial Registry (G.E.M.H.) confirming the legal status of the business (issued within the last 3 months), translated into English.
• To receive the translated certificate:
  1. Visit https://publicity.businessportal.gr
  2. Change the page language to English
  3. Fill in your business’s VAT number in the corresponding field.
  4. Click the “Printable format” button and in the Certificate overview, in the “Destination” field, select “Save as PDF”.
• The company’s articles of association, in its most recent signed version, translated into English and certified by an official translator.

Procedure for completing registration

1. Discuss your plans with our Business Manager and collect the required documents.
2. Fill in all the necessary information in the “Business Details” subsection of your profile. All information must be entered in Latin characters.
3. After you finish entering the information, click Save.
4. Upload the identification document of the legal representative and the business registration certificate.

Once the documents are verified, your account will be ready for business use.
