User handles

Handles are now available! This long-awaited feature allows you to create a unique handle that represents you on our platform. They make your profile easier to find by others and allow you to share your profile, boosting your visibility as a seller.

What is a handle?
A nickname is a unique handle that identifies you on the platform. It is unique and can only be chosen and submitted once.

How to set your handle

  • On the website: Go to the “My Account” section and find the option to set the handle in the “User handle & URL” field.
  • In the app: Tap the menu button on your screen and you’ll see your handle below your name (@yourhandle). If you haven’t set it up yet, tapping it will open a window asking you to choose a unique handle. If you’ve already set it up, tapping it will take you to the “My Account” page.

How do I choose my handle?
Your handle should be unique, personal and memorable. It can contain Latin characters, numbers, underscores (_) and periods (.). It must be at least 3 characters long and contain at least one letter.
Avoid using:

  • Social media mentions (Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
  • Websites or links
  • Bad language or inappropriate words
  • Consecutive dots or underscores
  • Starting or ending with a period

Once you submit it, your handle cannot be changed, so choose it carefully!

Why is the handle important?

  • Better visibility : Share your handle to make your ads easier to find.
  • Professional identity : A unique handle distinguishes you from other users.

Where can I use my handle?
Your handle will appear on your profile. Others can use it to search for you directly through the platform’s search bar.

Can I change my handle later?
No, handle are only submitted once. Make sure to choose one that best represents you.

What if my handle is inappropriate or violates the rules?
If your handle contains bad language, social media references, website links, or disallowed characters, you will receive an error message when you enter it. The message will explain the problem, and you will need to fix your handle to comply with our guidelines.
