If you have active listings and know you will be away for a period of time, you can activate Vacation Mode. This way, your response time and response rate will not be affected. You can turn this on and off in your account settings.
If you activate the above function for the duration of your absence, the following conditions will apply:
- When you activate Vacation Mode while you’re away, the following applies:
- Your listings remain visible in their categories and in search results on the platform.
- You can still post new listings or edit existing ones.
- You continue to receive messages and offers from potential buyers, and they will be informed that you may delay your reply.
- Your response time and response rate are not affected, so you don’t have to worry if you’re a Super seller.
- The Buy Now feature is temporarily disabled.
- You can still send a payment request to a buyer if you are able to ship the parcel or arrange a meeting.
- If you have boosted an ad, the boost continues to run normally. Boosts are not paused while Vacation Mode is active.
If you find a listing you like and the seller has Vacation Mode turned on, don’t worry – the seller still receives messages. Send a message to show your interest, but keep in mind they may reply with a delay.
You won’t be able to make an immediate purchase, but by sending a message and showing your interest, you may be able to arrange the purchase for a later time.
