*An exception applies to products intended for decorative or educational use.
2. Animals and products from protected animals
Vendora does not allow listings for the sale of animals or products originating from protected or endangered species, in accordance with Law 4039/2012 and the CITES convention.

Excluded from the above prohibitions are items that are parts of furniture or handles (grips) of medical instruments. All other items (decorations, figurines, etc.) are prohibited.
If the item you wish to sell has the legal certificates, you may edit your listing, explicitly stating that the item is accompanied by the relevant certificate; otherwise, please remove your listing.

4. Tobacco and nicotine products
The distribution of tobacco and nicotine products is subject to strict legal restrictions and is permitted only with special approval by the competent authorities. For compliance with legislation, the trade of such products is not permitted on Vendora.
Pursuant to Article 2 of Law 3730/2008, as in force, the manufacture, promotion, trade, and sale of items that have the external form of tobacco products, as well as the electronic cigarette, are prohibited, except for those approved by the Ministry of Health based on paragraph 2 of the same article.
5. Antiquities, coins and collectible items
The trade of antiquities and historical objects is strictly regulated by law. Vendora allows only items with clear and lawful provenance.
Content:
According to Law 3028/2002 (Article 20), “antiquities” are considered all movable objects – including coins – that date up to 1830.
Items prior to 1830 (coins, tools, figurines, ceramics, etc.) are considered antiquities.
The sale, possession, or circulation is permitted only with lawful proof of origin and a permit from the Ministry of Culture.
Without the necessary certificates, items are removed immediately.
This policy prevents the illegal trade of cultural heritage and ensures the platform operates with respect for legislation and the historical value of items.
6. Counterfeit products, rights violations & misleading commercial practices
Vendora supports authenticity and respect for intellectual and commercial property. Any falsification or copying that violates third-party rights is not permitted. Misleading business practices, such as multi-level marketing (MLM) programs or pyramid schemes, are strictly prohibited.
Listings of non-authentic products (replicas): Advertising a product using the trade name of companies is not permitted. The trade names belong to the trademarks of those companies and are protected; therefore, the names of those companies cannot be used to promote products that are not theirs. Law 4679/2020 “Trademarks – transposition of Directive (EU) 2015/2436”.
Copies of banknotes (except with clear instructions for color/scale): Prohibited as counterfeiting unless the conditions are met (transparency or different size >150% or <75%). Law 2948/2001 “Circulation of euro banknotes and coins”.
Misleading listings / multi-level marketing (MLM) / pyramid-type schemes, promising profits through attracting new members or selling non-existent/intangible products.
The implementation of these rules ensures that Vendora remains a safe, legal, and reliable platform. It prevents the trade of non-genuine products, protects trademarks, and limits transactions that could mislead or harm users.
7. Inappropriate content
Vendora is a safe space and suitable for everyone. For this reason, posting content with nudity, sexual activity, or other forms of inappropriate material is not permitted.
Nudity / sexual content / fetish content that violates boundaries – Prohibited, with exceptions for medical, educational, or satirical content.
Images. On Vendora, publishing images that depict nudity or sexual activity is prohibited, in order to protect community members and avoid sharing non-consensual or minor content. Restrictions also apply to digitally generated content, unless posted for clearly educational, humorous, or satirical purposes.
Images are permitted where there is no direct nudity, provided sensitive parts are covered with clothing, objects, or digital editing.
What is not permitted (indicatively):
- Nude adults: visible genitals, fully nude buttocks, female nipples (except breastfeeding, childbirth, medical, or protest images).
- Sexual acts: explicit or implied intercourse, stimulation of genitals/anus, use of sex toys, fetish content (cannibalism, mutilation, violence, byproducts).
Other clarifications: Digital content that meets the definition of sexual activity is removed, unless:
- The sexual activity is not visible,
- It is posted with satirical/humorous intent,
- It is posted for educational or scientific purposes,
- The images are sufficiently vague (only body outlines are visible).
Permitted exceptions:
- Images of breastfeeding or childbirth,
- Medical/educational content,
- Works of art (paintings, sculptures) depicting nude bodies,
- Protest images with a clear purpose.
The prohibition ensures a safe environment for all users, prevents posting of non-consensual or illegal content, and aligns with international practices.
8. Digital & intangible products
On Vendora we allow only physical, tangible items that can be delivered or shipped safely.
All digital, intangible, or intellectual products are not permitted, as it is not possible to check their legality, authenticity, or origin.
This prohibition is based on applicable Greek and European legislation for consumer protection, intellectual property, and the digital market, including: Law 4967/2022 (transposition of EU Directives 2019/770 & 2019/771 for digital content and services), Law 2251/1994 (Consumer Protection – distance selling of products and services), Law 2121/1993 (Intellectual Property), Law 5099/2024 (Digital Services & Platforms – DSA).
- Digital products in general (e-books, mp3, PDF, e-tickets, digital vouchers) – Not permitted. Difficult verification of legality and inability to ship physically.
- Console accounts / Steam / PS / Xbox / Epic – Not legally transferable or violate providers’ terms of use.
- Subscriptions – Prohibited as digital/personalized products.
- Software keys – Prohibited (non-verifiable origin).
- Custom ROMs / ROM hacks – Prohibited (legal and IP issues, violation of manufacturers’ terms).
- Mig Switch / Modchip / Modchips / Jailbreak / CFW / homebrew & similar tools – Prohibited (violate manufacturers’ terms and may be illegal).
- Card splitter / digital splitting tools – Prohibited.
It is not possible to verify the authenticity and lawful origin of digital products, while they often violate intellectual property rights.
9. Beyond Quality Standards (or Prohibited Items & Content on Vendora)
On Vendora we want every listing to be legal, safe, and reliable.
To protect users and maintain transaction transparency, certain categories of products and services are not allowed to be published on the platform.
The following rules are based on Greek and European legislation, as well as our safety policies.
Mystery Boxes (surprise boxes)
Listings that include “mystery” products or packages (e.g. mystery box, “package with a surprise”), where the buyer does not know the content, are not permitted.
Why: (1) The principle of transparency in commercial transactions is violated (Law 2251/1994 on Consumer Protection). (2) The value, safety, or legality of the content cannot be ensured. (3) Such boxes often include items of questionable origin or products that are not permitted.
Locked mobile phones & electronic devices
The sale or exchange of devices that are: locked (locked / iCloud-locked), reported as lost or stolen, without an active IMEI, or non-functional due to security/corporate restrictions, is not permitted.
Why: (1) Such devices may be stolen goods or unlawfully possessed. (2) The distribution of such items violates the Penal Code (Articles 370–372) and related provisions of Law 4411/2016 regarding acceptance of proceeds of crime. (3) Lawful ownership or origin cannot be verified.
Items of questionable authenticity
All products that are not verified as authentic or that use misleading trademarks are prohibited, such as: “replicas”, “type [brand]”, or products bearing logos of well-known companies without permission.
Why: (1) The use or sale of such products violates trademark law (Law 4679/2020) and intellectual property law (Law 2121/1993). (2) The rights of creators and companies are protected, while ensuring buyers receive genuine products.
Services
Vendora is a platform for items and not for providing services.
Listings that offer or request services (e.g. lessons, technical work, transport, cleaning, repairs, photography, coaching, etc.) are not permitted.
Why: (1) Service provision falls under a different legal and tax framework (Law 4172/2013 – Income Tax Code). (2) Some services require professional licensing or safety liability that the platform cannot verify. (3) We keep Vendora focused exclusively on buying and selling items.
Final note
Vendora reserves the right to remove or reject any listing it considers to violate these rules, the applicable legal framework, or the principles of safety and reliability of the platform, even if it is not explicitly mentioned in one of the categories above.
