Buyer Instructions
After selecting the “Buy Now” button, you will be taken to the checkout page, where you will need to select Geniki Takhydromiki as the desired delivery method to your desired address and fill in the requested shipping details.

Note on shipping charges : Geniki Tachydromiki has established 3 shipping zones for Greece, with different charges depending on the location of the buyer and seller. For shipments to remote areas in Greece, delivery is only made to the nearest Geniki Tachydromiki store. For domestic shipments within Cyprus, door-to-door delivery is available in all areas.
Seller instructions
After the buyer completes payment for the item and shipping costs, the seller is automatically notified to proceed with creating the label and shipping the package.
Within the transaction, select “Instructions & Shipping” to begin the process.
- After you are transferred to the label creation process, you will need to select the General Post office point where you will deliver the package to begin shipping and fill in a possible return address.
- The shipping label will be created and sent to your email within 3 days.
- Note: The first time a shipping label is created at a General Post branch, additional time is required as the request is reviewed by an employee. After the first request is completed and the label is created, there will be no delay and the creation of a new shipping label for the same branch will be done automatically.
- As with any shipment, keep a photo or video of the contents of the package and pack it carefully.
- Print and stick the label and deliver the package to the General Post office you have chosen.
- For shipments from Cyprus only: It is possible to pick up your package from your location. Follow the shipping instructions in the relevant step.
The weight of the package in the ad must be accurate (the greater of the actual weight and the volumetric weight), so that shipping costs can be calculated correctly. The volumetric weight is calculated according to IATA regulations as (Length x Width x Height in centimeters/5,000). Any difference between the declared weight and the shipping weight will be borne by the sender. To avoid differences in shipping prices, easily calculate the volumetric weight of your package.
